Santa’s Grotto is BACK!

Our famous Santa’s Grotto is returning for the first time since 2019, and the team is busily preparing behind the scenes to ensure that it lives up to expectations! The grotto is built and delivered completely in-house, by the dedicated Trevena Cross team; with the aim of ensuring families leave with magical memories that they will treasure for a long time.

Take a walk through the snowy forest, encounter wonderful winter wonderland photo opportunities, festive friends, and make the magical journey through to Santa’s Grotto, where you’ll meet the man himself. Upon exiting the grotto, children will be able to choose from a selection of age-appropriate gifts to complete their special experience. Pushchair and wheelchair accessible throughout.

When: 2nd-3rd Dec / 9th-10th Dec/ 16th-17th Dec / 20th-23rd Dec 2023 . 9.30am – 4.30pm

Cost: £10 per child, including gift. Our grotto is being supported by the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard who will receive a sizeable donation from Trevena Cross to share amongst their own nominated local charities and causes.

Christmas Markets 

Around 25 local traders will be showcasing some of the best food, drink, crafts and gifts the county has to offer at our highly atmospheric Christmas markets. Located next to our grotto, we can’t imagine a more ‘Christmassy’ space than this undercover area, and our traders can’t wait to soak it all up alongside visitors to the centre!

Photo Opportunities 

Outside of the grotto we will have other festive photo opportunities and experiences, with the likes of our famously fun penguin band, snowglobe, giant polar bear, and did someone say it was snowing??… Always a hit, snow makes everything feel festive, … and is where many of the squeals and much of the laughter can be found!

Your Christmas starts right here, in the ultimate Trevena Cross Christmas Shop! Christmas is now taking over the shop, bringing together a huge range of irresistible, awe inspiring lights and decorations to make your Christmas the most magical yet. From traditional to contemporary, conventional to quirky, we can cater to all tastes, colour schemes and budgets.

Indulge in a bauble shopping spree, (but allow plenty of time – it won’t be an easy choice!), admire the traditional Christmas displays or marvel at the irresistible ‘cuddly’ wall! With plenty of Christmas lights inside our returning light tunnel, and magically lit characters – it may also be the time to add to the ‘twinkly’ collection – inside or outside. Take your Christmas up a notch, from being great, to simply AMAZING!

And when the décor is sorted, get the Christmas gift shopping underway with a mosey around the gift department – we could fill Father Christmas’s sleigh with the diverse range of handpicked gorgeous gifts available. Oh and don’t forget the Christmas cards – a smashing selection of traditional and more contemporary cards to choose from while you’re here!

Christmas Trees 

We’re confident we’ll have a range of trees to suit all homes, tastes and budgets – including our incredible value £25 Nordmann Firs –  in the lead up to Christmas. In addition to the lovely non-drop Nordmanns we’ll have the traditional Norway Spruce and Fraser Firs – all available cut and pot grown.

With our dedicated and knowledgeable team on hand to help you make one of the most important family decisions of the year, we hope that you’ll make your Christmas tree a Trevena Cross Christmas tree. We promise that you won’t be disappointed!
