  • Norway Spruce £20 - Trevena Cross Christmas Tree
The cut Norway Spruce Christmas tree (5-6ft) is the ‘traditional’ Christmas tree and its historical significance still makes it a firm favourite with ‘traditionalists’ today. It is British grown and is the most affordable tree of the lot (£20 + £5 local delivery charge - Click here to view the postcodes included in our £5 delivery area and £10 delivery area  or contact us for a delivery quote outside this area). It has the all-important conical Christmas tree shape and although it is more prone to dropping its needles than the now popular Nordmann Fir, if undisturbed and well looked after, the Norway Spruce should still do a good job of retaining its needles over the festive period... > (See our guide to tree care here.) It is also a great choice for an outdoor position!
  • Fraser Fir Christmas tree at Trevena Cross
The cut Fraser Fir (6ft) Christmas tree has the perfect combination of needle retention and delightful fragrance. It is perfect for those after something a little different this year, but still offers excellent value (£35 + £5 local delivery charge - Click here to view the postcodes included in our £5 delivery area and £10 delivery area or contact us for a delivery quote outside this area). Native to North America, it is one of the most popular Christmas tree buys across the pond in the U.S. These British grown specimens are conical in shape but not always symmetrical – giving them plenty of character. Its strong branches are often angled slightly upwards, meaning it has a slimmer appearance and can work well in a more compact space where there isn’t room to sprawl. It is also a bonus when it comes to decorating – the perfect rest spot for those heavier baubles!

  • Corokia Geenty's Ghost foliageCorokia Geenty's Ghost hedging plant
Available in a 4 litre pot. Corokia Geenty's Ghost is a tough evergreen shrub from New Zealand with silvery grey foliage and small yellow flowers in the spring, which are followed by red-orange berries. It is a great one for coastal planting, withstanding salt-laden winds well, and also makes a cracking hedge in locations prone to wind. Its compact habit means it can be trimmed to a neat  shape, naturally only reaching around 1-2m high and around 1m wide - therefore also making it a great pick for smaller gardens. It thrives in a well drained soil in a sunny, or partially shady position. Feeding with a decent fertiliser during the growing season will encourage the nice dense growth required of the 'perfect hedge'! A per plant discount is available for bulk purchases of Corokia Geentys Ghost hedging plants. This discount will be applied in your basket if applicable (begins at 10+ plants).

  • Ilex crenata Green Hedge hedging plant

    Ilex crenata Green Hedge

    £7.95£25.00
Ilex crenata Green Hedge is the perfect alternative to Buxus (Box hedging) - looking almost identical to the old favourite, but without falling victim to disease problems such as box blight. Its common name is Japanese Holly, but it doesn't have prickly leaves, it has small dark green (probably slightly darker than Buxus) leaves that help form a neat dense hedge. Another advantage over Buxus is its more robust nature - and ability to grow beyond the common low Box hedge if desired - up to around 1.5m, due to its slightly more vigorous growth habit. A great evergreen option - and also perfect for topiary. Plant in a well drained soil in a sun/part shade position. A per plant discount is available for bulk purchases of Ilex crenata Green Hedge hedging plants. This discount will be applied in your basket if applicable (begins at 10+ plants).
