Corokia mangantgi – an evergreen shrub from New Zealand with starry, yellow flowers in spring and warm yellow berries in autumn. Grows up to 2 metres high with a spread of 1 metre. Plant in free draining soil in an open sunny position. It clips well and makes a good seaside hedging plant as it’s tolerant of drought, wind and has even withstood temperatures as low as minus 8 degrees centigrade.
