As the last day of Garden Truro passed by on Saturday, we prepared to pack up our grand display and remaining stock, and head straight to Stithians showground, to set up for the annual Stithians Show, taking place today. What a great conclusion to the best part of a week spent out and about!
Our four days in Truro were a great success, and gave us the opportunity to meet, greet and talk all things green and gardens with visitors to the wonderful event. Despite hot temperatures (blistering hot at times!) there was a great turn-out and lots of enthusiasm for plants and gardens. The weather was surely a great help in getting everyone into the ‘outdoor spirit’!
We made great new connections with customers from the other side of Truro, including places like Newquay, St. Austell and Bodmin, and were able to encourage them down to the ‘real west-country’, with a promised first visit to our nurseries in due course! – We look forward to seeing them soon!
A different, but equally enjoyable event today, Stithians promises to be another scorcher, as the sun begins to break through and the temperature keeps rising… plenty of fluids and suntan lotion an absolute must for today! We’re again selling a range of stock, with specials on a variety of small perennials making great bargains for the garden this summer!
