An excellent cultivar from New Zealand. Selected and grown for its compact growth, fresh green foliage and its abundance of bright orange red flowers in summer. Forms a bushy salt resistant shrub 3-4m tall by 3m wide when fully grown but can be grown and trimmed to size and shape, even growing in a large shape for many years. Hardy to -5 degrees so it is best grown by the sea in wind swept gardens or as a tub plant. Protect from frost when young.
