We have got 1 picture of Blechnum discolor

A New Zealand native fern that produces a shuttlecock shaped crown. The fronds are narrowly lanced shaped. These are bright green above and paler below with slightly wavy edges and can reach up to 90cms long. The fertile fronds (those carrying the spores) are widely spaced and have ladder like very narrow leaflets. Mature plants can form small trunks. A fairly hardy fern that should be able to take temperatures as low as minus 8 degrees. Prefers a light, damp, but well drained soil.
