|  | Evergreen succulent, with rosettes of blue-green fleshy leaves with a sharp tip to the end of each leaf. Height and spread 2m. Tall flower spikes are produced on mature specimens. Plant in a container, or in the ground, in very well drained soil (mix in grit if necessary) in a sunny site. Agaves are slow growing, and must be kept dry in winter. Withstands hard frosts when mature but protect from severe cold. Specimens available. |

|  | A hardy succulent from Arizona with many inward facing spines and a nasty tip spine, borne on leaves that can reach 1m long and 10cms wide. These leaves are a grey to a deep green colour. As the plant ages a dramatic flower spike appears with umbels of bright golden yellow flowers. This spike can reach 4 –6m high. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil adding plenty of grit if necessary. Height 1 –2 m with a spread of 1.5 –2m. |

|  | From South Africa this Aloe usually branches from the base to form groups up to six with grey-green leaves with brown soft pointed spines on the undersides and triangular spines on the leaf edges. Height 1.8m with a spread of 1.5 – 2m. Plant in fertile well-drained soil in full sun. Hardy to about minus 10 degrees C. |
