Slow-growing ornamental palm with arching branches of grey-green fronds up to 2m in length. Height and spread 4m. Produces yellow flowers in summer. Plant in sun in well-drained soil. Will stand minus 10 degrees when mature.

 Chamaerops humilis (Dwarf fan palm)
A very exotic looking slow-growing evergreen palm with a number of stems bearing arching fan- shaped green leaves. May produce small yellow flowers in summer. Height and spread 2m in 10 years. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Can be grown in a large container. Suitable for the conservatory or outside as it is able to stand as low as minus 10 degrees C. This palm is one of the best for windy situations but will benefit from shelter. Other sizes available please enquire.

 Chamaerops Var. Cerifera (Blue Chamaerops)
A very exotic looking slow-growing evergreen palm with a number of stems bearing arching fan- shaped blue green leaves. May produce small yellow flowers in summer. Height and spread 2m in 10 years.  Cordyline australis
Often known as the Cornish palm or Torbay palm that can tolerate very heavily salt laden winds, making it an ideal plant for seaside gardens. Can grow to 5m and will branch out after flowering when mature. Flowers are in panicles 1m long. Ideal in southwest but protect from the hardest frosts by covering the leaves. Please note that we stock many different larger sizes.

 Cordyline australis Red Star
An evergreen exotic looking shrub with striking bronze red foliage, a lovely structural looking plant for growing in pots and tubs in well drained compost. Also makes a wonderful plant for mixed borders creating a focal point. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Height up to 1-2m with a spread of 60cms. Grows on a single trunk and is hardy to about minus 5 degrees.

 Cordyline australis Torbay Dazzler
A very attractive, evergreen Palm tree with green variegated cream foliage. Height up to 3m. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Grows up on one trunk until flowering when it will usually initiate more trunks. Needs protection from hard frosts. An excellent plant for conservatories or warmer gardens.

 Cordyline red sensation
A stunning exotic Cordyline with purple foliage. Grows on a slender trunk 1.5-3m tall but can be restricted by growing as a container plant. Spread is in the region of 1m. Plant in rich moisture retentive soil in full sun and feed well with Vitax fertilizer. Hardy to about minus 7 degrees C. Protect with fleece in very cold weather

 Cycas revoluta (Sago Palm)
A splendid slow-growing small evergreen palm like tree. Usually produces a solitary trunk, which eventually will reach 2m. Suckers may form which, if left unchecked will form new trunks. Dark green fern like stiff leaves forming rosettes. Plant in sun or shade. Hardy to about minus 5 degrees for short periods when mature. From Queensland in Australia this fan palm has deeply divided fan shaped light green leaves on stalks up to 2m long. The palm rarely grows to more than 3m.  Rhopalostylis sapida (Nikau Palm)
The Nikau palm from New Zealand is slow growing and forms a long trunk after many years with a feather duster look to the long leaves. Plant in a shady sheltered situation in good, moisture retentive but well drained soil. Treat similar to a fern but bear in mind that it will need protection from frost of more than a few degrees below. Can be used as a tub or pot plant on shady patios and bought in the winter. A good choice for a cool shady conservatory. Larger plants available from £35.00

A rare hardy palm which forms a compact clump of stout trunks to about 2m tall after many years. Tough stiff spreading leaves are woolly white on the upper surface and glossy green beneath.
