A fast growing evergreen Yucca (height 4m/13ft, spread 1-2m/3.3-6.5ft) with stunning variegated leaves. It should be planted in a large pot in John Innes no 3 on a sunny patio, and be brought indoors or protected with fleece on frosty nights. It will only survive temperatures down to about -3oC and so should only be planted in the garden in warm / very mild areas. Like the standard Yucca Elephantipes, it makes an attractive conservatory plant, if kept cool in the winter and given access to plenty of light.
