Sambucus Racemosa Sutherland Gold is a hardy deciduous shrub (height and spread around 3m/9.8ft) with gorgeous bushy golden foliage composed of finely cut leaves. It produces attractive creamy yellow flowers in spring, followed by glossy red fruit. It is resistant to scorching in bright sunlight. It should be planted in a sunny or dappled shade position, in moist but well-drained soil. It can be hard pruned to keep a compact shape and promote the golden colour.
