An unusual evergreen shrub (height 2-4m/6.5-13ft, spread 1.5 -2m/4.9-6.5ft) from Chile with tiny light purple flowers in the spring. The plant has small dark green leaves and spines on the stems. It should be planted in a free draining soil in sun or light shade.
