A densely spreading shrub from Victoria, Australia, that should reach around 2m/6.5ft high. This shrub is probably best planted in a tub or container and taken into the greenhouse or conservatory for protection from the winter cold. Masses of dainty, mauve coloured bottle brush like flowers appear in summer. It requires adequate moisture to establish, but should do fine in most garden soils.
