This rare plant is from Australia, we believe New South Wales - especially in coastal areas around Sydney. It reaches about 3m/9.8ft high and bears wonderful yellow flowers in the summer. These later turn into attractive cones. It should be grown in very free draining soil in full sun. It should withstand some lighter frost but protection from harsh frosts will be required.
