This hardy, dwarf deciduous shrub, (height and spread 1m/3.3ft) has vivid cup-shaped red flowers throughout summer on compact dark green foliage. It should be planted in full sun in a well-drained, fertile soil -back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
