Lupin The Governor is a herbaceous perennial and a traditional border favourite. It has mid-green leaves and produces long flower spikes in shades of blue and white in early summer – prompt dead heading can produce a second flush of smaller flowers. It can reach up to 1m/3.3ft high, and 45cm/1.5ft wide , and will do well in a well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
