Bright, cheery, colourful plants, especially with red flowers or bracts, are key symbols of Christmas and make lovely gifts for oneself or others during the festive season. A wide range of houseplants bring Christmas cheer to the home, alongside the Christmas tree.
The classic Poinsettia is a familiar favourite and traditional Christmas purchase for many. They prefer a bright, warm spot out of a draught and with careful watering, (don't over water), can last the year until next Christmas!
Colourful autumn/winter cyclamen (£5.00) in shades of pink and snow white are another favourite, preferring a cool, brightly lit spot out of direct sunlight, and without too much water.
Other plants include beautiful azalea pots (small £5.50, large £9.50), orchids (£10.00), hyacinth baskets, small holly and ivy plants, little conifers and other Christmas delights!
