A fast growing hardy, reliable and non-invasive bamboo (height around 6-8m/19-26ft). This species has stout green culms that turn soft yellow in bright light /full sun. The leaves also follow this same colour pattern, remaining green in shady conditions. This is the best bamboo for hedging but is also good as a specimen plant. It remains reliably compact in cooler areas and makes a good container plant if fed with a decent fertiliser regularly. Available in 2ltr and 5ltr pots.
