A very hardy evergreen or ever colourful plant (height and spread in the region of 40-70cm). Leaves are red in the autumn and turn purple throughout the winter. Leaves are tightly packed and wavy edged giving the plant a really interesting look. It grows best in partial shade in a moist acidic soil, but will also tolerate full sun.
